According to racism enthusiast, Charles Johnson… the state flag of Tennessee!
Dang. Something for my already stressed reading list….
Or, “That’s IT!”
This is the first election year in my life where I’ve understood it as being about punishing politicians. It hasn’t had to be. Now, it does.
Update – origin of this flag is … here?
Obama : “There is a healthcare crisis! We have to do something!!! ANYTHING!!!!”
Congress : “Obama’s right – let’s do anything!“
“California has run out of money, but it hasn’t yet run out of things to regulate.” – Mark Steyn
A recent letter from Network, a social justice lobby of sisters, grossly overstated whom they represent in a letter to Congress that was also released to media.
Network’s letter, about health care reform, was signed by a few dozen people, and despite what Network said, they do not come anywhere near representing 59,000 American sisters.
The letter had 55 signatories, some individuals, some groups of three to five persons. One endorser signed twice.
There are 793 religious communities in the United States.
The math is clear. Network is far off the mark.
The coffee party “movement” wants to obey the Maximum Leader. What a shock.
I did not know that.
Goat has been called “the soccer of meat”: Everyone loves it but Americans. Traditionally, the agricultural viability of goats in this country has been limited to tangy cheeses, petting zoos and mohair sweaters. – AOL news
How have they not blamed this on Global Warming?
In other news – AOL still exists?!?!
… I wonder what this would be like, set to the Crazy Russian song?
So… basically, The People are meant to rise up and… print short PDF files of old talking points. And, um, spread them around the, um, community and stuff.
C’mon … “Final March”? Has the Stench of Doom on it, dunnit? Maybe they could call it the “Healthcare Trail of Tears” or the “Bataan Health March”?
I was traveling via Los Angeles International Airport — LAX — last week. Walking through its faded, cramped domestic terminal, I got the feeling of a place that once thought of itself as modern but has had one too many face-lifts and simply can’t hide the wrinkles anymore.
I’m currently suffering through Hot, Flat and Crowded. And it’s getting to me. What a tedious mess. I’m pretty sure he beats the domestic-airport-as-metaphor and domestic-train-station-as-metaphor at least a couple of times.
